End of Dashboard in 10.7?

    From the screenshots of 10.7 it looks like Launchpad is replacing Dashboard, there is no icon in the dock.

    Although I don't use dashboard a lot it is very useful for the calculator and conversion widget.

    Shame really...

    Dashboard is still there, maybe they just removed the icon from the Dock or it gets activated via other means (like Active Screen Corner or F3 key).

    And if it will be gone, Konfabulator will rise from the ashes. Singing Life On Mars.

    Ah yes, there it is! I never thought it fulfilled it's potential and if Apple put their mind to it they could have made it really really useful.

    I don't even use it, it's disabled through terminal on my machine. That said, again ... another one depending on dock icons to tell us what is in an OS we saw only a glimpse of.
