I just finished reading engadgets review of the iPad 4. It says the iPad 4 gets more than an hour of extra battery life over the iPad 3. None of the other reviews I've read so far claim this. You think this is accurate? If so I would wanna upgrade to the iPad 4.

They're comparing a 3G model with a WiFi model. Obviously 3G is going to take up more battery.

Probably. I'd imagine the A6X process is fabbed on a smaller process saving power.

The A6 is pretty flipping awesome. I wouldn't put it past the A6X to be getting notably better battery life.

It actually says they got over 11 hours of battery life on the wifi version of the new iPad.

Custom a6x processor plus 32nm fab vs 45 nm will definitely see a decrease in power.
