Sounds dissapointing, but i doubt it's that bad. Plus its the iPhone so it has to be amazing.

Sounds like the usual small niggles you get with Rev A products. When the iPod came out it was hardly perfect.

I think I might wait for a revision or two before splashing out on an iPhone (not that I can afford it anyway  )

The BT headset charging sounds cool.

But seriously, $120 for a headset? That's as more than I'll pay for Leopard. That's 3 times what I paid for my Motorola BT headset. That's too expensive.

The thumb comment makes me wonder if they were smart enough to type with the sides of their thumbs and not the pads.

Sounds like someone quoting Steve Ballmer.

I have tremendous faith in the in digital keyboard. I can't wait until Friday.

Different from other views. Most reviews so far seem to be surprised at how well the keyboard works (including Mossberg!).

Youtube, I am not surprised it doesn't load well over EDGE.

I'm glad the touchscreen requires hard presses, so it prevents accidental input.

Not interested in the headset, although I'm not surprised at the price.

I think we've gone past fanboy stage. These are A/Cboys — because they think the fact that they like the iPhone makes it seem that much cooler to the rest of us.

A price point to be expected, its own dock for charging both the phone and the headset sounds interesting, I'm wondering if apple will product an in car dock? I would certainly only use the bluetooth headset in the car, so an accessory that closes this gap would make sense.

I wonder how many takes were needed for that one part of the iPhone guide where the guy types with his thumbs if what Engadget says is true...

I'm not surprised the keyboard was 'off' a bit, it will take a while to get used to. I know the full sized touch keyboard at Borders takes a while to get used to (I know I'm used to the raised home keys to keep me in line).

It won't both me too much since I don't intend on sending email from any phone.

It doesn't have to be...but if Apple meets half of my expectations, it will have been worth the 599

I'm glad to have read this review. I don't necessarily think every statement is "fact" but it will actually stop me from buying it on the first day and wait for more reviews..

I agree. $120 for that BT headset is too much. If it were BT noise reducing stereo headphones + mic, then I would go for it, but not for a single ear piece.
