Buying a mini is kind of like a trick I played on the part of my brain that wants the newest thing. Going forward I'll always have the newest iPhone Mini.Fortunately for us 13 mini users, this thing is timeless and shan’t be replaced

I'm going to enjoy my 13PM for the last few days. I took it off the case last week. Will be going back to apple soon. Gotta love a naked iPhone.

In my opinion, the jump from iPhone 11 to 12 was pretty big in terms of both design and raw computational power (A13 to A14). Actually, the jump from the A13 to the A14 was the last one with a node shrink.
The jump from the iPhone 12 to 13 was more subtle, as the design was pretty similar, and the difference between the A14 and the current A15 was focused mainly on efficiency.
If we consider the regular iPhone 14, the jump from the 13 is going to be negligible. Yeah the 14 will have 6GB of RAM whilst the 13 only had 4GB, and that’s important in the long term. But the SoC is going to be the same, the A15, and the same for the design. So yeah, I’m with @Ifti on this one.
The jump on the Pro lineup, on the other hand, can be pretty noticeable with the A16 and the jump in megapixels (from 12 to 48), but I expect the biggest jump when Apple starts using a titanium chasis, periscope lens, and USB-C. Hopefully all of that will be happening next year for the iPhone 15.
Technically, the 14s won’t actually release until the 16th…so you’ll still the newest until they come out.

I feel this comment on so many levels. I had the 11 PM and then got the 12 PM and realized I almost had the same phone. I was really underwhelmed with the 12PM. I vowed not to get the 13 PM but I switched carriers and got the 13 PM. I think I’m also going to sit this year out and I say this now but somehow I manage to get the newest. When I do I feel like I could’ve passed up on it. If anything I’ll get the new Apple Watch.
I hope this iPhone 14 release is as boring as ever so I’m not tempted away from my 13 pro max lol.

I really wanted to skip this year, but if they really do improve the camera a lot, I probably will upgrade (13pm currently). I'm a nature addict, me and the wife spend a lot of time walking, visiting National Trust properties (UK thing), and so on. In fact we're a member of I think 6 or 7 different garden / heritage groups.
Yes I could buy a dedicated camera, but I have a baby boy and carrying all of him & his stuff as well = damage risk...
