Enter Key not working in FF's address bar

For some strange reason, hitting enter after typing in an address in the address bar does nothing in firefox. The google search works fine, but enter will not work with the address portion. Any ideas what this could be?

Try deleting the Firefox preference file, org.mozilla.firefox.plist, which is located in "your_user_name/Library/Preferences/" and see if that fixes it.
