Just wondered what the state of play is for medium and large ERP applications on OSX.

The SAP, Baan, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft and Oracle behemouths (and whoever they are merging with at the moment) seem not to apply, mostly.

What options do we have? Also any engineering/design/project management/quality software that is of decent professional-grade strength that people use, and like (or hate). Why?

I know nothing about SAP etc, but somebody posted this the other day.

I'd be interested to know if there's anything new in this area, as I spent a lot of time 3 or 4 years ago looking for MRP (yes, different, but related) systems that were cross-platform and came up with little.

There were about three that were Mac compatible, but were either very crusty, too small scale (MYOB-type), or both.

Something entirely server based that ran with a platform-independent web frontend would be awesome, but I found nothing of the sort back then.
