Entourage disappeared

Hello:

I was in my Entourage mailbox this morning and it worked fine. Went on to do other things and cam back to the computer to check email and Entourage opened up like it was brand new and asked me if I wanted to make this my default email?? No addresses, no emails and no folders are in this Entourage. Where would my original Entourage have gone. I haven't deleted anything.

I am using Mac OSX 10.4 (Mac/Windows). Thanks for your help.

You have probably renamed or moved your Microsoft User Data folder or your Main Identity folder. Since Entourage can't find the Identity, it is offering you to set up a new one.

If that is the case, you might want to look up Entourage in spotlight and see what happens.

Good idea, but try "identity" instead of "Entourage". The mail, account and address data is not held in the Entourage application folder, but more usually in ~user/documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identities/Main Identity
or a path similar to that (the details may vary depending on the version of Entourage)
