Entourage Search --- Google Desktop

Anyone have Google Desktop installed ?
New apple convert...

The Entourage search funtionality is nowhere close in performance as the equivalent Outlook 2008.

Planning to install Google Desktop to see if it expands on the search functionality under osx...

Which version of Entourage are you using? Entourage 2008 uses OS X Spotlight, which is pretty robust. What kind of searches were you doing in Outlook 2007 that you haven't been able to do with Entourage?

I have not really a/b it but as I just got up and running with the whole Apple platform and Entourage.

But when I just typed in a keyword and hit search (like I would normally do under Office 2007), it did not bring up nearly as much emails & or as granular as I would have liked....whereas Office 2007 would have defaulted to.
