I received some dodgy spam email yesterday that wouldn't display in the preview pane. It caused errors and forced Entourage to quite.

Now I can't get Entourage to load at all!! It begins to launch the programme and then quits before its even loaded up. I get a warning message announcing "The application Entourage quit unexpectedly".

I desperately need to access the information within Entourage.

What can I do to get it going again or at least access the info somehow?
I'm on Entourage:Mac V.X :(

Try holding down the Option key while launching the program and rebuild the database.

Try this

Find the com.microsoft.Entourage.plist file and move it to the desktop. Then try launching it. If it doesn't work, put it back.

Tried that. Still no joy I'm afraid. I fear the database may be corrupt. Is there any software to retrieve info from a corrupt database?

Sorry, I got nothing else for you.

As a last stab, have you restarted and then tried repairing the database?

Try going into Applications and double click on 'Microsoft Autoupdate' and check for any patches.

If you installed Entourage after installing Office 04, you will need to reapply ALL the patches to get it to work again...

Let me know if this resolves your issue!
