I find that the frame rate isn't very consistent in the game. I see a lot of stuttering during cutscenes. I wonder if I am seeing a lack of RAM issue.

Combat reminds me of demons souls... playing the same level over and over... Same.

Absolutely, but this game doesn't inspire me to keep playing. When this game was announced the developers promised a complete RPG experience and even warned the price was going to reflect that. It feels cheap and rushed just to grab holiday sales. Gameplay is OK but graphics don't make a great game. I have hundreds of apps, some I've never used, but this is first time I actually feel like I wasted money in the App Store.

I had much more fun playing marathon 15 years ago on a 68030 machine with a 25 MHz clock and only 8 megs of RAM. With its combination of motion, puzzle-solving, story-telling (encompassing elements like humor, irony as well as imagination), and for simply being both mentally stimulating and physically challenging... the marathon trilogy (along with its numerous 3rd-party scenarios such as EVIL, Rubicon, Tempus Irae, etc.) will never be outdone.

Never.

I would pay beaucoup bucks to get marathon running on my iPad, with these gorgeous graphics.
