lack of a consistent approach. multiple processes. If you can't see it - I can't help you with that. And them not being able to cancel again, has to do with what exactly? Nothing.

And if Apple Music didn't exist, there would be no case. Spotify's lawsuit is based wholly on Spotify being disadvantaged in iOS App Store agaisnt apple music. If Apple Music didn't exist, Spotify would still pay an IAP...so there is that. Spotify is using Apple's platform to distribute their wares and it seems fair for them to pay for that, same as other apps that use Apple's platform.

With Apple Music, Apple also competes with music streaming providers. By setting strict rules on the App store that disadvantage competing music streaming services, Apple deprives users of cheaper music streaming choices and distorts competition. This is done by charging high commission fees on each transaction in the App store for rivals and by forbidding them from informing their customers of alternative subscription options.
from the commision
The lawsuit is a “joke”, imo. While I can kinda see Spotify's point that Apple has a lot of roadblocks for rivals... it should also be known that Spotify has almost 3 times as many paying customers as Apple Music... and many of those customers use iPhones. So obviously iPhone users have had no problem finding Spotify... even though Apple Music comes standard on the phone.
And Spotify has a free tier that lets people listen to their entire catalog in exchange for hearing some ads... while Apple Music only offers a temporary free trial. That's another reason people can, and do, seek out an alternative to Apple's built-in music subscription service.
So yeah... Spotify might be upset that Apple is now in the music streaming business... but Spotify is still the juggernaut in that space.
Well the same thing applies to every other streaming competitor. While I can kinda see Spotify's point that Apple has a lot of roadblocks for rivals... it should also be known that Spotify has almost 3 times as many paying customers as Apple Music... and many of those customers use iPhones. How do you know internally apple doesn’t take a commission?Well the same thing applies to every other streaming competitor.
If I start a music streaming service I will not be able to swallow apples mandates 30% fee in order to stay price competitive toward Apple Music or Spotify

And please tell me what an internal commission even mean? Apple paying apple money to use apple AppStore? How do you know internally apple doesn’t take a commission?
Apple will be forced to allow Spotify and Netflix to have their own subscription system or ability to guide people to their store without the ability to take any commission.Yep.
So what do you think Apple will do? Or be forced to do?
I haven't been following the Spotify/Apple lawsuits.
Spotify has already removed the ability to purchase their Premium subscription from the App Store so now you have to go to the Spotify website to subscribe. Netflix too.
My point was... Spotify still reaches iPhones users even though you can't buy a subscription with IAP due to Apple's fees. And having to go to the web hasn't stopped their growth. Spotify is still the biggest. By far. Netflix too.
Yep, and thanks to this EU is using it as a springboard for whole ecosystem investigation for anticompetitive behavior. One unique quirk of EU legal practices is the tendency to look at things more broadly outside the scope of the lawsuits, compared to the USA tendency to look at only the case in isolation. The music examples are about as clear cut anti-competitive as it gets.
Those are competing services that are extremely similar offerings, save for some small differences on the margins.
Apple enormously prioritizes its own Music streaming offering all over the OS and of course has the huge financial advantage of not trying to take a cut of Apple Music revenue (as opposed to competitors).
Internal chargebacks are a thing. And please tell me what an internal commission even mean? Apple paying apple money to use apple AppStore?
is there a reason to believe “this” is even a possible thing actually exist?
you do know Internal chargebacks docent change anything for apple? It would be like charging yourself for cleaning your home...Internal chargebacks are a thing.

Not really.you do know Internal chargebacks docent change anything for apple? It would be like charging yourself for cleaning your home...
same wallet and same money going in a circle and excludes all profit margins.
then please explain how Internal chargebacks changes anything in Apple Music vs Spotify anticompetitive claims about the 30% apple tax that apple don't payNot really.
