Ok, Long story short; I am reinstalling my R2400. It has been so long since I originally installed the printer that I cannot remember how I remedied this problem last time.
The Problem: I cannot select the correct paper as it is either not an option or appears grayed out. The really perplexing part is that this is only an issue with the Firewire setup... the USB setup has the same issue with a limited list and some selections appearing grayed out, but it does give me the options I really need.
In the picture you will see that the "page setup" just says standard... with the USB this turns into a dropdown menu. That is the only difference I can find between the two setups
I was able to fix this with the original install... a couple years ago, so I know it's possible.
