Epson with MacOs and iOS

Has anyone used or using an Epson printer with wifi?
I want to buy an Epson Xp-405. It is easy to config with my imac/macbook and iphone/ipad? Do i need an usb cable? because it is not included on the box

No, you don't. It's pretty easy to install: You only need to connect it to your WiFi, and your Macs and iOS devices discover it automatically afterwards.

I've used my Epson Workforce 845 AirPrint connected via wi-fi for 15 months now without any problems at all. Both with my iMac OS-X and iPad IOS. Initial setup was very easy - just select the wi-fi network name and type in the password. Have never had to fuss with the printer at all when the router goes down, power failures, etc. It just automatically reconnects without need for any intervention. Zero issues here. I do think that there is some sort of limitation about scanning via wi-fi on this model but haven't looked into it since I only use it for printing and copying.
