I'm trying to run a program on my Macbook White and it's saying that the computer cannot initialize graphics. When I looked up tech support, it said to set it to 256-bit mode. What would be the equivalent of 256-bit on a Macbook white?

System Preference -> Displays

Look for the Colors drop down menu. I have the following options: 256, thousands, millions. Check for screen resolution also.

BTW - I have an Al MacBook so i don't know if it will be any different on yours.

I believe that the GMA X3100 MacBooks don't have the option for 256 colors which has cause some issues with games.
