Erase all data and settings - 3GS 3.1.2

Hi all,

I was going to sell my 3GS 3.1.2 and wanted to erase all data and settings. Now I'm apparently stuck on Apple logo loop and the phone is restarting all the time.

This is the iPhone that was exchanged for my faulty one, and unfortunately I didn't do the SHSH backup to saurik's server on this one.

Is there any way, that I will be able to use 3.1.2 on it and do JB/UL? Or at least UL?

I really think Apple needs to add a statement to that reset. Words like "DANGER" and "Are you really, really sure you want to do this?" and then ask you one more time and give examples of what you're going to do to your phone.

Yes. Something letting people know that it won't just delete your info and settings. It will format the whole iPhone.
