    Hi all
Just wondering if this is the best way to do things.
basically I had tiger on my mac mini then went to leopard and then snowleopard. i am now selling my ma mini. I want to sell it with basically tiger on it, the person who is buying it will have the option to install leopard and snow leopard.

I am doing an erase and install at the moment, i assume my previous stuff on my mac mini will then be deleted yes? once its deleted is it safe to say the new owner wont be able to retrieve my information?

    thanks in advance

It is better to use Disk Utility while you're in the Installation Menu.

Disk Utility is located under Utilities.

When opened, choose your HDD and select the ERASE tab, then click on the OPTIONS button to select one of the following options:

ZERO OUT DATA should do fine, as most data recovery systems won't be able to recover data from that.

After that install Mac OS X like you would.
