iPod Erasing an iPod

I'm sure this is reasonably simple, but how do you completely erase an iPod. I want to sell it, but I don't want to give away all my songs.

I'm sure this is reasonably simple, but how do you completely erase an iPod. I want to sell it, but I don't want to give away all my songs.

go to applications:utilities:iPod Software Updater and open the newest app (ipod updater 2005-02-22) and select 'restore ipod' this will completely wipe your ipod and install the newest firware
