I appologize for using the word 'douche', however, it is no different than any other word that would be used as a statement of disdain or disgust.

as for my second login. When employed by apple, you are not allowed to partake in forums, therefore, I removed all my accounts from all forums. No longer working for them, I created them again. Nice try though.

Thanks :)

I appreciate your apology -- but that word really is not like any other word in that it implies awful disdain towards women. That's my problem with it. But again, I am thankful for your apology.

I like the new shape much better. That curve back on the last iPhone is just stupid as it wobbles and slides all over the place when you put it down. I am a MAN and I don't mind my toys having sharp angles.

i really didn't like having to put my old iphone screen side down when i set it down on things, didn't feel right

I like the feel of both the 3Gs and the 4 but do prefer the 3Gs rounded back.

However, the thinness of the 4 makes it nicer to put in your front pocket -- well unless you get a thick case.

I love the shape of the new iPhone.

I really missed the flat back on my 2g when I upgraded to the 3gs. Many times I want to set up phone down on a table and use two fingers to use the keyboard.

with the 3g and 3gs, you could could not do this because of the curved back. Now the the ip4 has a flat back, I can use this method again.

I love the way my iPhone 4 feels in my hand.

So, you know, it's just a different opinion. I have one. You have one. They're different.

It doesn't mean anyone put "art before function." It means you all have a different opinion. That's all.

(And please don't come back and talk about the death grip to me. It's very clear that everyone is talking about how the phone feels in your hand in this thread. For this issue there is nothing more to go by than people's opinions.)

Can't speak for the 3G or 3GS - but having used the 2G forever, and moving to the 4 - I can say the 4 isn't NEARLY as slippery. But the 4 isn't quite as comfortable to hold for extended times compared to the original.

Someone on these forums made a very accurate analogy regarding the original iPhone. "It's slipperier than a minnow swimming in personal lubricant". Truth be told there. ;)

I have to completely disagree, I have pretty large hands (6'5") and the new iphone is MORE comfortable in many instances.

You are ridiculous. If you think calling someone a douche is a slight against women you need to see a shrink and get over whatever trauma you experienced.

Sorry, but pc is already too far, and this statement is ridiculous. Get over your ****.

So you've never called anyone a dick? Does that imply some awful disdain towards men? And you think anyone who uses the word "douche" has an awful disdain towards women? I doubt most people even think of what a douche actually is when they call someone it. Stop being so offended by stuff that shouldn't affect you.
