Hey so just jailbroke my iphone 4 and after reboot the phone was stuck on the apple logo. Is my only option just to restore to factory settings and go to 4.0.2? I have saved my shsh. so let me know if i need to first go to 4.0.2 then downgrade. Thanks

Apple was still allowing you to install 4.0.1. Hopefully, they are still allowing it. Quickly google and download that firmware. In ITunes, restore using that file.

If Apple stop allowing the above and giving you this "device not eligible...," google how to use your saved SHSH to restore to 4.0.1 file you downloaded.

Afterward, you can use jailbreakme.com again.

easier way would be to use tiny umbrella to instantly grab the blob for 4.01, that way you can use that server later if needde.

I suggest you first try to kick your phone out of recovery mode using TinyUmbrella. If that does not work, you can use TinyUmbrella or saurik's server to restore to 4.0.1. You do not need to upgrade to 4.0.2, nor should you.
