iPad Pro Erratic iPad

My fiancee has an 9.7" pro.

she loves it but last few days its been doing random things.

If she using facebook app in will randomly jump to facebook messenger app.
If using chrome browser it will randomly open new tab.

last nite we was sat on bed and her tablet was on bedside table.
It just started playing the last music track she downloaded on repeat.

Any ideas?

Over weekend going make backup, wipe it a restore backup.

I would restore it as new and see if it still has a problem. If not try the backup but it could bring your problem back.

she has game progress and that so will have to put backup back.

game does not support game centre.

She kill me if i loose her progress as it months worth we moved it across from her ipad air when she upgraded

She may have no choice. Do a back-up 1st. Then restore as new and if the problem goes away then she has a software problem. If it does not go away . . . . .

For information it turned out to be the charger!

Her pro came with a 10watt charger in box.
I had recently bought a 12watt genuine apple charger.

They look the same and she mixed them up.
She went back to her 10watt charger and tablet is stable again.

Just thought I'd share my findings with everyone.

12watt charger is working fine with my ipad 3 with no ill effects.
