So I have an iPhone 4, an iMac, and the latest version of iTunes. I moved my iTunes folder from my 1 tb internal hard drive to a 2 tb external hd. When I added everything back to my iTunes, everything went well expect my apps.......when it tries to add the apps I get this error message: the app "app name here" could not be added to your iTunes library because an error occurred. An unknown error occurred (-50)". This happens WITH EVERY APP. anyone know how to fix this because I really don't feel like downloading all my apps for my iPhone and iPad again. And yes, I tried transferring purchases from the phone to iTunes, it didn't even give me a quarter of my apps. any help is greatly appreciated and if I posted this in the wrong forum I apologize in advance.

Just a guess, trying to help since I saw the lack of responses.... You are sure the folder you transferred contains the app folder, mobile apps, or whatever it is called?

I am sure you have tried this too, and I don't know how it works with apps, but is it like the media where you can locate each one manually by double clicking it icon? If you can do that, that could fix the problem, albeit manually....

Good luck, hopefully someone more intelligent than I will help you out!

Yeah tried that one as well.....I'm not sure what is going on or what is causing the error. Thanks for the help though!
