I have multiple imap accounts from gmail to yahoo on my iphone running 14.4. Recently, maybe last two months? If I'm not on my home wifi, I get that "cannot verify server identity" with "imap.gmail.com" or "apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com" I don't think I have VPN on. I have another iphone using same 14.4 and in settings screen I have a VPN=off. But I don't see that on the phone I have issues with. But I have Sprint for the "not working" phone and AT&T for the working phone.
The not working phone is a work phone, but I don't know if that could be the cause. ATM, I can't call the office to find out, as it only started happening to me when I'm out of the office.
I tried rebooting and it didn't work. Next would be deleting and redoing the mail account, but I thought I would ask here.
