Error for playing back rented movie on Apple TV2 ???

    So I Rented a movie the other day from my Apple TV2.
    I let it download during the day so me and my wife can watch it during the night.

    When we get back to the Apple TV2 during the night, we see that the the movie is finished downloading and that we just need to press play to watch it. So far so good ... its just like every other time we have rented a movie on the Apple TV2.

    Then after pressing play we get an error message on screen that says, An error has occurred, please try again later. So we wait an other day ... and same message again ... we try it every day and same message every time for now 2 weeks ...

    I now have 15 days left to watch it ... but can not find how to do it because of the error ...

    Anyone else has had this issue ... ??
    Please help me out !!

    So no one has ever had this problem after renting a movie with the Apple TV2 ???

    I've been getting this error when trying to use Netflix and Youtube for the past couple days. Don't know what the deal is... I'm going to do a restore and see if that gets things working again.

    I haven't gotten any errors, only looooooong looooooong download times. This is one product that I think Apple took out of the oven before it was really done.

    When I tried downloading movies in HD, I got a message saying I could watch it in 48 hours then 36 hours, and it jumped back and forth.

    Then I decided to just do the downloads in SD Mode until whatever problems they were having with it got fixed. This worked out well as I have been able to watch movies pretty quickly in Standard for the last couple months....

    Last week we went to watch 127 Hours, it began downloading, started up pretty quick, and then 14 minutes into the movie it cut out and told me I couldn't watch the movie for 90 minutes. :mad:

    I called Apple Support and they tried blaming my internet provider for throttling. I asked the guy if they throttle my speeds up and down as they see fit? Somedays Cablevision likes me, so they will let me watch the movie immediately and without interuption, and others they don't like me so much so they will slow me down to a screeching halt while watching a movie and giggle in the background? I asked the guy, how about Apple's end maybe? Is it possible a lot of people may be watching movies at the same time I am and this is the reason for the inconsistency? He said they would look into it. :rolleyes:
