    Hi Guys,

Hope someone can help me with this! Just bought a refurbished macpro, everything running sweet as a nut for the first two hours and then bang, the machine crashed and won't boot. It just loops reboot, then it kernel panics and then repeats.

I thought it might be something to do with the fans so on the off chance of getting into the machine I installed fan control and raised the fans. It stabilised for about 20 mins and then back to square one.

Can anyone help? Here is the last report......

I would pull the ram and try test them two by two. My guess is you have a bad stick somewhere.

Looks like some software issues going on.
Boot to your Recovery system, and reinstall.
Do that by restarting while holding Command-R.
You appear to have a non-Apple keyboard, which may have a Windows key, so hold that instead of trying to find the "Command" key - so Windows-R
You'll boot to the recovery system menu.
Choose the Disk Utility, and do a Repair Disk after selecting the hard drive.
If that Repair completes OK => Quit Disk Utility, and then click Reinstall OS X.
Be sure to run your Software Update after the reinstall. You were running 10.8.2, and there's at least 3 batches of security and bug fix updates to Mountain Lion since 10.8.2. That should get you to OS X 10.8.5 - and perhaps a more reliable system (?)
