    Hey guys,

I just got done with the whole bootcamp process on my
    13'' macbook pro
    Intel core duo 2
    with 2.53 GHz
    and 4gb memory.

The reason I used bootcamp was to be able to play Fallout 3. However when I try to launch the game to load it up I get an error message that reads

"This application has failed to start because the application is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

Does anybody have any idea what I can do?

Well 1 you can try reinstalling the game. Also did you get the game off of steam? If so you can verify the game and it will fix any problems that there are.

--another issue is make sure all of your drivers are updated. as well as your graphics drivers. So the nvidia website will be where you want to go and download the latest graphics drivers for your specific card.

Okay make sure that the game is fully updated.

    Next do this.

Some people resolved the issue by installing .NET framework version 3.5 (the Fallout DVD tries to install version 3.0). The install is from Microsoft's website here:

    Download details: .NET Framework 3.5

But before you can run that install file, you may also have to download Windows Installer 3.1:

Download details: Windows Installer 3.1 Redistributable

After the 3.5 .NET framework is installed, Fallout3Launcher.exe should start successfully and the game should run.

--> You should still fully update your graphics drivers anyways to enhance gameplay.
-->Also make sure Your version of windows is fully updated
