Error message when installing printer.. help!!

Hi Guys

I finally got my much loved first imac for christmas!! lucky me!!

Anyway just got round to installing the printer I have an HP all in one 2355.

It all installed fine and prints fine.

But it keeps bringing an error message up about every 5 minutes which says

The application HP10 Trap Monitor quit unexpectedly
Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.
Click Relaunch to launch the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.

If I click relaunch nothing happens and if ignore nothing happens!! message just disappears and then comes back again about 5 mins later!! getting really annoying now!

It has installed the printer fine but it has tried to do a more information where I can choose the set up like A4 paper as first choice etc but gets about half way through and always cuts out doesn't matter if disk inserted or not.

Does anyone know an answer to this very annoying problem!

The HP IO Trap Monitor is a process used by the scanner features of your All-in-one. I'm not certain if removing it is advisable, but I have found that typically this error is caused by installing the printer drivers from the included software disc rather than downloading/installing directly off the manufacturer's website. Try reinstalling the drivers and report back.
