Seems like every time I walk away from my iMac for an hour or 2 I come back to the following error message:

You can't open the application svn because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

I have no idea which application is generating this message.
Any help?

Check the following locations for anything automatically launching that could be related to "svn":
  • System Preferences > Accounts > yourusername > Login Items
(Lion users: System Preferences > Users & Groups > yourusername > Login Items)

  • /Library/LaunchAgents/ and ~/Library/LaunchAgents/
(Lion users: In Finder, click Go > Go to Folder > then enter the path)

  • /Library/StartupItems/
(Lion users: In Finder, click Go > Go to Folder > then enter the path)
Also, Launch Activity Monitor and change "My Processes" at the top to "All Processes", then click on the CPU column heading once or twice, so the arrow points downward (highest values on top). Also, click on the System Memory tab at the bottom. Then take a screen shot, scroll down to see the rest of the list, take another screen shot and post them.

The Console App should show an error message under 'All Messages' or 'system log'.
It look like something along these lines:
4/9/12 7:34:35.452 PM com.apple.coreservices.uiagent: Apr 9 19:34:35 Jonquil-Sunrise.local CoreServicesUIAgent[3726] <Notice>: Application failed to launch (id = com.canon.CanoScan Toolbox 5.0, version = 5.0.1.0 reason = kLSNoRosettaEnvironmentErr)
That should help you find the culprit.
