error on page?

just below the site menu bar, it says "Apple iPad Announced: Apple Releases iPad Tablet, New SDK, iBooks, and iWork Apps"

this is probably an error because it doesn't appear on any other page and seems outdated

You are right that it's not big news anymore. I think most site visitors have heard about the iPad by now!
