Error: "Sharing Doesnt Work On Intel Mac"

hey guys,
i just updated my 08 mac pro to 10.5.3, and screen sharing finally works over the net, yaaaaay!!!
back to my mac doesnt. booo!

anyway, so i go to system prefs, and select sharing only to be met with the following error.
"sharing doesn't work on an intel mac"
pictured below.

anyone know how to sort this out?
