Using the calculator in OS X, enter "-2/3", (minus two divided by three).

What do you get?

My calculator reports that answer as 0.666. (Positive NOT negative which is the correct answer). Is anyone else having the same problem? The calculator is giving out wrong answers!

I have calculator version 4.2 running on 10.5.8.

Works fine for me with the same versions:

Weird, mine also gives an proper result -0.6(6) But I had calculator crash a few times before with binary conversions😕

Thanks for all the replies. So indeed it would seem that it is just me who is having the problem. Weird.

Even stranger is that my calculator paper tape displays the correct answer (-0.66), it is just the calculator screen that is wrong... oh well. I'll just have to remember it until I upgrade..
