Ive heard that the jmicron chipset cards are the only ones that dont need the drivers that dont work well with os x, so I wanted to make sure that this one would work with the new mbp: http://www.outletpc.com/c5506.html

Sorry for the post, but I didnt want to necro an older one.

Ill be using this with my lacie hd that has esata, so I can free up the fw port and use that (with a 9-6 adapter) with my audio interface.
