Actually, I found the one you are speaking of. It looks like Sonnet made several variations on this theme. This particular one doesn't explicitly state Mac OS X compatibility, and so I am staying clear. I am already fighting with enough inoperative hardware!

If its controller is new enough to support AHCI, Leopard's universal AHCI driver will talk to it. Tiger's AHCI driver is Intel-only so those controllers are Leopard-only.
