guys - I'm used to minimizing use of the mouse or trackpad and maximize use of keyboard. Wondering if somebody can provide shortcuts. for basic things which work fine in the Windows world. For e.g. I do Command I to see folder info on a folder. Then to close that window, I press Esc but nothing occurs but get an error beep. How do I close that window without using the mouse to press on the x button on the window?

Cmd-W is the standard shortcut for Close, and I think it works for the Info window (but I'm not currently at my Mac to check).

cmd-w closes windows so that would close the info window, but just pressing cmd-i again also closes it.
