Escape Velocity In Classic Environment

Hello,

I'm trying to get Ambrosia's Escape Velocity to work in the classic environment but it lags seriously. I tried giving it more memory but that didn't help. Any tips?

I have found that after a restart, EV & EVN run better. Might I suggest you try EVO, it runs natively in OSX.

Restart what exactly? The game or the Classic environment?

I don't really like the sequels and the original also has some nostalgic value for me. That's why I want to play the original classic Escape Velocity.

You can download EV Classic for Nova and play it through there, if you've registered EVN.

I mean restart the whole computer, then instantly start the Classic Environment. That will allow the system to have access to the most memory in a single piece.
