Yesterday received iPhone 14 via Courier on launch day (no prior reservation) and tried to activate on Consumer Cellular (NVMO) without success.
Customer service transferred around 3 different reps - none could figure out how to activate an eSIM.
They were so accustomed to using a physical SIM, that one rep said we have to mail you a SIM.
Can't believe with 4 million subscribers, they could not activate an eSIM phone!
Switched over to Tello and instant eSIM activation.
