Hi, I activated AT&T eSIM card. For now I inserted my T-mobile.

I really liked the feature and tried to buy iPhone XS for my family member.

I started iPhone Apple Store app and... it only allowed me to buy under T-mobile account. I couldn't switch, may be didn't found how to switch it to At&t.

Any thoughts? Thanks for reading.

Go to the settings app > cellular data > and make sure that you have T&T selected as primary before usage the Apple Store app.

I have ATT as primary and as a data line, anyway Apple Store app picks up physical T-mobile line.

Even if I remove T-mobile SIM card, I still have T--mobile number in the app. The moment I enter disactivated old physical Att card I have Att phone in the app.

I don’t know why Apple is seeing T-Mobile.

Are you using the same Apple account you have always used? Gave you ever had a T-Mobile phone on your account?
I use the same account. I never bought anything fro T-mobile. I use only unlocked iPhones. Thos the glich in Apple Store app, it gets info only from physical slot. I think they should fox it soon ehrn eSIM ne more popular.
I hope Apple Store developers are aware thay XS can have 2 SIM cards. :)

Re: "it only allowed me to buy under T-mobile account": dumb question, the Store app did not present the "Buy a new phone" option below the "Replace this phone" option? My 8 is allowing purchase of any XS right now.

Worst case scenario, buy via desktop browser or iPad app if you have a tablet.

But, yeah, odd that it's only seeing one SIM.
