I am so confused right now. I go to Italy every summer and I use a local SIM. I want to get a 14 PM.

Does Vodafone or TIM offer eSIM service to people visiting for a month or two?

Check out esimdb. I’ve heard good things about them.

Also Apple has a good page on eSIM support. I would go with esimdb for travel though

I want to use Vodafone or TIM directly in Italy. They have the best rates for data. Also that link you gave me doesn’t answer my question. I really need confirmation from someone who has or has not had success in Italy using an eSIM with one of two carriers while visiting.

Hi. I'm from Italy.
You can buy and use an esim by Tim or Vodafone or Windtre or Very or Coopvoce or Spusu in Italy.
They are not always available in any physical stores.
Moreover, with Very and Spusu you can buy and activate the esim online.

My friend that works at an Italian carrier just confirmed I can get service with an eSIM next summer at his store. Crisis (potentially) avoided.

I think they will have it worked out where you just buy a card with a QR code to scan by your phone’s camera and it is all handled.
