I had Verizon move my line from physical sim to eSim. All was successful. I then ordered a SIM card from a Verizon mvno (US mobile). Could not get it activated without setting it temporarily to the primary line. After it activated it refused to connect to LTE. Tried everything. Top just showed Verizon 3G

Took out my iPhone XR that has T-Mobile and was also moved to eSim. Popped in the US mobile SIM card. Immediately started to work with LTE data and VoLTE. Showed US Mobile instead of Verizon.

Looks like this might be a limitation when trying to use the same network but mixing MVNOs

Yes for sure. Funny because I was able to successfully use Verizon physical and esim concurrently on LTE. What a shame.
