They did as of yesterday. This article explains it:For those that use Xfinity Mobile, i'm not quite sure they support eSIM yet...any insight?
I'm in the same boat, it seems it's not working on Xfinity's end, hopefully they get it sorted out before pre order time.Has anyone successfully switched from physical to e-sim (existing customer) online? I’m stuck on this screen.
Your phone is compatible and can be activated today
Anybody surprised?the support has no idea as of today ...
Visible which is also a Verizon MVNO said the same when they started offering eSIMs. I don't see why can these carriers can't simplify things for existing customers.I got off the phone with another and they claimed that currently only new devices can use eSIM and I cannot convert my current device to use eSIM instead of SIM
Xfinity Mobile is showing the new iPhone 14 on their splash page now so I assume they will have them available to order tomorrow...

It will be. Not completely clear how current customers will receive the $400 off though.
I have an unlocked iPhone 12 Pro and Xfinity is saying its incompatible for an eSim as it is?
I am also not the account holder, I plan on ordering an iPhone 14 from Apple directly, would i have issues trying to activate later while not being the 'head user'? I am leaving the country 3 days later and would like to have a newer phone given my 12 Pro has 79% battery health.
So that's part of my issue too. When we transferred over, I had an iPhone X which it shows as my current phone. I can select that and when i scroll down it says my SIM card is in a 12 Pro. but i don't know how to change the current device being used. I'm not sure all-in-all. Unless i just need to access the page via computer, not phone, to see more options. When my plan switched to XM it said my unlocked 12 was incompatible but we ordered a SIM anyway and it works. I've noticed if I go to the generic compatibility tool it still says incompatible with my eSIM IMEI but if I go through "Devices" and change device it is compatible when I enter the number there. I think the compatibility tool is practically useless.
Somewhat similar experience for me, but I have not had any issue using my "incompatible" 12 mini with Xfinity for the past several months. I hope they will soon roll out eSIMs for existing customers on eSIM capable phones. When my plan switched to XM it said my unlocked 12 was incompatible but we ordered a SIM anyway and it works. On my wife's line we upgraded from an iPhone Xs to iPhone 13 mini and her line still shows the iPhone Xs as the device in use since the line was originally activated with the Xs. Nevertheless there are no issues using the 13 mini on their 5G network where available. So that's part of my issue too. When we transferred over, I had an iPhone X which it shows as my current phone. Interesting, so same issue as me. Thanks, sounds like I'm just overthinking it. I'm sure (maybe now too optimistic) that Xfinity's eSim setup will be clear by the 16th.On my wife's line we upgraded from an iPhone Xs to iPhone 13 mini and her line still shows the iPhone Xs as the device in use since the line was originally activated with the Xs. The computer is no different. I've logged on with a computer and there aren't any options to change the device.
