iPhone ESPN crashes

The ESPN App crashes repeatedly on my iPhone 13 mini w/128GB memory And iOS 17.6.
As soon as I start scrolling/video, it crashes. Closing, rebooting, etc. doesn’t help. Is this a software bug or is my iPhone having problems?

Happens all the time to me too. I've read elsewhere that using a VPN will make the app misbehave (makes sense...a little). Also, ad-blocking at the network level may cause issues. If I need to use the app, I just go to my cellular connection and it seems to work better lol.
