Doesn't make any sense. I don't want to charge my wallet with a cable. Any such product should just charge via MagSafe when attached to the phone. Apple needs to make that happen.

If it was their first product I could understand the skepticism. But this company seems to have a bunch of products out already.

Crowdsourcing is a good way for a company to raise capital without having to beg banks for it.
ESR is actually a really good accessory company. I bought their HaloLock 360 MagSafe attachment for my S23 Ultra and I love it. I also have their HaloLock Wallet(without the Find My Apple for obvious reasons)and Magnetic Car Mount with CryoBoost to wireless dock and charge magnetically.

I might buy another set of rings as I have one on a case I will no longer use once my new case comes in, as well as one on my phone

Or at least allow me to plop my MagSafe (or any Qi) charger up against it to charge it. Dumb to add a new proprietary cable.

Magsafe could have revolutionised the things we carry every day but instead all manufacturers keep putting out is the same wallets.

I took matters into my own hands by buying a few cheap silicon magsafe wallets from Amazon, gutting them for parts and then 3D printing various shells of my own. I have one that stores my housekeys on a keyring for nights out, one with a credit-card multi-tool, one with a small box for potential medication and a reusable coffee cup with a magsafe ring in the bottom so I can rest my drink on the arm of my sofa using the back of my iPhone case as a magnetic coaster.

I looked at a bunch of their products on their website and say a few reviews on YouTube and it does look like they make a quality product. One I would feel confident buying.

Every one of these things except cash (which I personally NEVER use) are already in the phones digital wallet. Except my license (coming soon to digital) and my physical AppleCard (for the few busineses that still don't have tap to pay).
Not every place accepts digital. NFC is a lot more common these days, but there are still places that you need your physical card.

Wish these type of wallets held more cards. 3 seems very limiting.
Driving license, ID card, Health card, credit card 1, credit card 2, credit card 3
That's before I get to any loyalty cards (which I dont normally carry)
Then there is good old fashioned cash,
That's sooooooo many cards...my DL is my ID (and my locale is moving towards electronic options). I don't regularly carry more than a debit and a single credit card with me.

I cannot understand the whole wallet attached to my phone thing, it just screams "steal all my s*** at once".
I find it very useful, in the past I kept my building access card and one of my debit cards there. My apartment door opened with a code, so all I needed to leave the house and get back was to take my phone.

Now I live in a building with mechanical locks (ew) so I only use the magSafe wallet when I run/go to the gym - small bill and a debit card attached to the phone are very convenient.

Another thing is, I now have a wireless charger on my desk where my phones sit, so I tend to avoid MagSafe accessories unless I'm working out.

I stopped reading at "three physical cards".

That's just not enough for me. Tried very hard with the apple wallet with same limit but I eventually broke and moved to this. It isn't great but it fits the five or six cards I need, and it's probably the same thickness as this ESR wallet because it doesn't have any of the other things.

I backed this project and received my wallet a week ago… I’m very pleased with it!

I have the Apple Wallet which -as a minimalist wallet- I’ve been happy with, but this offering from ESR is fantastic.

Pros.
- Very strong connection to iPhone (I have a 14 pro)
- Cards are held snugly, but easy to push out with a nudge from cut-out at bottom of wallet - this is something that the Apple wallet is lacking.
- FindMy is very useful and will offer more accuracy of location -should i lose it- than the Apple wallet relying on NFC.
- Excellent build quality
- Rechargeable battery using a Mag connector
- Comfortable to hold, more so using the finger loop to support the phone for single-hand use when walking the dogs (I tried the ESR and other brand MagSafe finger-loop-rings, but couldn’t get on with them)

Cons.
- I have yet to find the ability to purchase a replacement charging cable, just-in-case.

Highly recommend!
