Estimate on messed up Air?

I offered a guy $850 for his Rev A basic Ait until I got there and it has the major screen wobble that Apple only SOMETIMES fixes. He told me to shoot him an offer for what I will pay in its current stae, as he didnt think that it was a big deal until he read the links I supplied. What should I offer him

Can you phone a local apple store to ask if they would repair it? it seems to vary store from store.....

I think we have agreed on $700 and they wont tell me.. They say I have to pick up the machine and bring it in

That's BS. Have him go with you with the MBA to the apple store and see if it will get fixed.

That wobble should be fixed by Apple unless there is obvious operator damage such as dents or scratches/scrapes....🙁🙁🙁
