Anyone have a ballpark on how much this will cost to fix? Will I have to replace the entire keyboard?

My MB has also survived a coffee spill that only affected the back lighting for the keyboard. I think it's the stain covering the lights not the lights actually being out. so with that in mind. About how much would a new keyboard be?

A new key top isn't much at all - they're all over eBay. As for the keyboard, as it is integrated into the top case, it would be quite a bit more to replace. iFixit has them for $300.

Can't you just pop the key back on? I know it's a little bit tough, but I've popped keys off my keyboard to clean under them before and gotten them back on with no problem.

Alternatively, if you really use the fn key a lot, you could just remap it to another key that you don't use often via a program such as KeyRemap4MacBook.
