The Apple TV 3 has a Ethernet jack on the back, if that is what you are asking about.

Are you saying you don't have any Ethernet ports available on your router/AirPort Extreme?
If so, just get an Ethernet hub, I use this one and it works well.....

Cause I recently connected ethernet to sony 4k t.v. with an existing ethernet cable, I thought today with using t.v.+sky q+ I didn't have any ethernet ports.
I've since found a spare cable and as you advise, I've a few spare ethernet ports via 3rd get extreme.
