I know there are lots of ones for Windows/Linux. For Mac, here is at least one:

EDIT: This one also has another USB 3 port on it so it doesn't tie up the only USB 3 port on the multiport adapter.

My first post mentions the VGA/HDMI multiport adapter. That goes into the laptop and gives you a USB-C (for charging), VGA or HDMI (depending on which adapter you get) and USB-A.

Then in that adapter you plug power, monitor and this USB 3 Ethernet adapter.

That's it. Power, monitor and Ethernet. All for $115 .
