Can you use ethernet and an external monitor at the same time with the Macbook or is it strictly wireless?

    You are missing one adapter.
Will that work on the MacBook?
USB-C to USB, then USB to Ethernet?

My first post mentions the VGA/HDMI multiport adapter. That goes into the laptop and gives you a USB-C (for charging), VGA or HDMI (depending on which adapter you get) and USB-A.

Then in that adapter you plug power, monitor and this USB 3 Ethernet adapter.

That's it. Power, monitor and Ethernet. All for $115 :(.
