Use DHCP, not PPPoE. The username/password may be for a webpage or something, not the LAN connection.

Um do you mind telling me what the DHCP is? I know it's one of the options i can pick, but what it stands for or what kind of connection it is?

What do you mean? Do i have to input them somewhere else? Or are they there just in case? (i did look it up on wiki this time and i think you're right but i'm still not sure as to how to approach this whole problem).

I'm using a laptop at work and iwon't be able to try the solution above till i get home, so just in case that one doesn't work, do you have any other advice or anything else i could try to make it work?
