Woo! The confirmation finally arrived. Did not expect that! 🤩 I was prepared for an October delivery, so that is a very nice surprise!
Of course ordered a new iPhone like every year. This year: the iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB Spaceblack. Ordered within a few minutes. The app was problematic, so ordered via the site. Ordering the same model for my brother was problematic. Both orders were not showing up at all. No confirmation either. But after 20 minutes both iPhones showed up. Now both of them are PFS.
Sold my iPhone 13 Pro Max already. Now I am stuck with a Samsung S10 Ultra for a week.

I am also surprised that my order is already being prepared for shipment! The last time I preordered something from Apple it took like ages to get charged and see status updates. 😅
My status also changed to "preparing for shipping" sometime last night. This is exciting! I usually order through my carrier so this is a completely new experience 😂

Despite complanning of price, I ordered yesterday a pro max 256 black. Expected delivery is Friday. We shall see.
I ordered iPhone 12 Pro Max 512 GB Deep Purple yesterday. 15 minutes after AOS opened to preorder. I have a delivery time set for 16/09. It is still processing and cash not taken from my account. Is it normal? Will I get my phone on time?

Two 14 Pro ordered. One silver 256 GB for my girlfriend and one space black 256 GB for me. Should arrive on 16 September. Shipping is being prepared... 
Don’t know what to say, maybe it’s just a matter of time for the transactions to pull through? Give it some time, or just call Apple. They’ll help you for sure
I called them yesterday and they said that's normal, but I read a lot on this forum and the forums, that cash has been taken out 30mins after transaction and they have prepared for ship status. It is strange for me.
It’s the same for me. Placed the order around 11 minutes after start. No reservation on my KK (payed with apple pay) and stuck in „order processing“.
I also usually gift myself a new iPhone for my birthday. It is in September, always around launch date (iPhone 6 release date was actually on my birthday) so that’s my excuse 😅
So less exciting update but my pick up is now a the processing stage. It was at the « order placed » stage until now. Yay !

I don’t think it is normal. Maybe it has something to do with the problems the store had shortly after.
Do you think that we will get it by 16.09? Mine is still in processing. Women on contact line said that my order is fine yesterday.

Relax. If Apple says you will get it on 16/9, you will get it on 16/9. I am also, like you, still in processing. We both have 512GB versions while people reporting mostly have 256GB versions so perhaps they are processing the orders in waves based on the configuration.
Don’t worry, it’s not uncommon to get charged just a few days before the actual delivery date. When I ordered my Apple Watch Series 6 from the Apple Store, the order was stuck for almost two weeks in processing and my credit card got charged just moments before the order got shipped.
I know, it’s not my first preorder
It was just irritating, that the state of the orders were changing that early, especially for europe.
