HomeKit Eufy Cam Now Supported By HomeKit

I would not recommend any eufy product. I've had terrible experiences with them, including not being able to connect to Homekit, so recordings can't be stored in iCloud. Their own cloud service provides no way to backup your data. The only option is to manually save each of thousands of videos, one at a time, using their phone app.

eufy has inefficient technology, and terrible customer support. I caution against anyone buying their products. YMMV.

I’ve got the pan and tilt version which has worked with HK for months and apart from the lack of two way audio (in HK) it’s great, and a bargain!

lol yeah. It was fresh off the press when I posted it a year ago. Guess that website is no longer.

I impulse bought a few of them when they had the pre release sale. The prices were ridiculously cheap at the time but was turned off by no full duplex two way audio in HomeKit so got rid of them before I even opened them. Also for the outdoor cams, removable battery is a must. Can’t have any down time while charging batteries.

I'm pretty happy with mine. I have three regular "Indoor's" and two "Indoor Pan & Tilt's". I do the two way in the Eufy app to console my yapping dog 🤣 though it would be more convenient if it were in the Home App

Haha 👍. All the prominent HomeKit tech reviewers on YouTube gave the thumbs up to the Eufy’s. I’m pretty sure they’re great cameras but I do all my streaming in HomeKit and is a pain for me to have to switch just to talk. I believe these are the only HomeKit cams that don’t support that feature. Bummer because they’re very nicely priced. What I do is yell, Hey Siri, play music” in the camera 2 way audio to invoke the HomePod where my dogs are lol.
