After a lot of pre-order I'm not worried at all about the shipping date. I'm really worried that UPS or DHL, with the high number of delivery, miss some day one scheduled delivery. I was in this situation with my Apple Watch Series 4 and they pushed back the delivery to the next monday
Yeah, I had the same problem for the delivery of my AW S6 a few weeks ago. Got the shipment one day later than initially scheduled. If this happens now the Apple planet will go berserk as this means pushing back to Monday!
I’m in the centre region of France. My MagSafe will arrive tomorrow but my 12 still says preparing. I too was charged immediately after the purchase. Don’t we usually get the shipping notification/tracking the day before? It’s super quick next day delivery usually.
I can't remember when I got my notification last time but do believe it came from the Netherlands ..
Usually the order state switch to "shipped" 1 max 2 days before the scheduled delivery. They want to be sure that the phones are not delivered earlier than release date. In some cases (like mine that I live in the mountains) this mean to not match the actual release date.
That makes sense, I got a shipping pack to send my MacBook in for repair from Apple last week. I talked to them on Thursday afternoon and it arrived Friday morning. I believe it went from Koln, Germany > Netherlands > CDG, Paris all in the same evening. It was super quick.
Yes iPhones ship from Eindhoven , must be the UPS Hub for Europe.

If we choose online to take the iPhone the 23th at an Apple Store, is the phone charged on the bank account once we take the phone in the store or the amount is paid before ? I don't see any Apple payments in my bank account.

12 Pro 256 GB in Pacific Blue. Was going to skip this year and keep my 11 Pro Midnight green but ... well... I’m weak.
Tought about picking the graphite one but I had the black/grey variation for so many years... Looks really cool though.
A little sad the green got the boot but at least there is another « fun » color this year. I wonder if they’ll keep it or replace it next year.
Scheduled between 8 and 8:15 am on Friday.
Tracking won’t be as exciting as a home delivery !
If I remember correctly, the phone is charged when the store has received it.
Usually the day before, when you receive the notification « Ready to pick up. »
You don’t have to pay anything while at the store.

Belgium here. I ordered the 12 Pro in pacific blue for launch day delivery on Friday. The status is still in preparing to ship since Friday night. Based on what the tips from the other forum, I checked my UPS my choice and I don’t see any shipment yet. Hoping they don’t mess up the delivery because its a Friday haha!
I believe it’s like that all over Europe. I can’t see a thing on UPS either. Don’t worry,so far we are all in the same boat.

Funny thing is, I placed a separate order for a magsafe cover and that amount is still reserved, but the order is "out for delivery" with the DHL 🤨

Really charged already? Or just a reservation/hold on your credit card, because this was already Friday for me after ordering.
